Hi Dr. Moore,
Happy National Doctors’ Day! Thank you and your staff for the wonderful care.
Best Regards,
John
Thanks John!
I l learned a lot about sun screen from you blog.
Is is it ok to shave off skin tags?
If they are truly skin tags it is safe. It might be worth having a skin cancer screening just to make sure (and your derm might just remove them for you).
I find your blog to be very helpful. My daughter is a patient of yours and thinks highly of you. I’m 69 years old and have sensitive skin with a fair amount of age spots, fine wrinkles, not so fine wrinkles and sagging. My aesthetitian recommended I tried needling and I was wondering what your opinion is about that procedure.
Hi Heidi,
Microneedling can be helpful for stimulating collargen, though it takes several treatments to see dramatic results. It is safe for sensitive skin but can cause bruising if you are prone to this.
Our trusted master aesthetician is very good at microneedling and performs the service both at Polyclinic and her own practice.
